HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!! I hope you all were able to do EXACTLY what you wanted as the world around you participated in the countdown! I am blessed I had the chance to celebrate with friends although I would have had just as a good a time cozying up in front of the tv in my jammies and sparkling drink watching the countdown. And I usually don't get caught up in making "resolutions" during New Year because I'd rather just start once I make the decision for the change. But this year I actually had some things that were weighing heavily on me that needed to be transformed into BETTER things. I wasted NO time getting started. So I went out and purchased my planner for 2018 so I could strategically plan out how I will achieve EVERYTHING on my agenda for the year! Day 1 is off to a great start! I have so many new things I will be doing and I can't wait to share them with you all. One of the commitments I am making to myself and you all is to stay consistent with this blog. Most of the time I get so caught up in the studio creating and completing orders that by the end of the day I am too exhausted and don't have the willpower to sit in front of the computer and update you on all the new things I have been sewing with leather and cooking in the kitchen. But like I said earlier, this year I will be a better steward of my time so I can effeciently tackle everything I set out to do.,
As I was cooking today, I was also reflecting on 2017. So many things happened this past year yet it seems like we sped right through it.. I decided to take a visual walk back into time to see EXACTLY what happened last year. I love the format of Instagram because it lets me quickly look through JUST pictures. And here are some of my favorite pictures/moments that I shared with you all through social media. I can tell you this......overall I noticed I worked more than ANYTHING else so that will be changing in 2018!
I am looking forward to this new year and sort of a fresh start and checking things olff of my list. First off, I will be stepping my picture game up this year because even though I took tons of them.....I left SO much out! But I am super excited because I have A LOT to document and share with you all! I will be pushing myself harder than I EVER have. Last year I made similar plans but then got comfortable and didn't do half of what I had hoped. Rest assured, that will NOT be happening this year! I have new projects that I can't wait to bring you up to speed on so you all can hold me accountable. Stay tuned!
