Finished Draped Top + Building the Terry Tote

Hey Button Family! I hope you are all off to a great week....I know I am! I have been hard at work, as usual. And I am so excited to share a little more of what goes on behind the scenes of my creative process. First off, I promised to show you how the draped top turned out once I got it all styled and photographed. I posted a couple of pictures on Instagram/Facebook but I realize that not everyone uses these social platforms, so I didn't want to leave you out! Once again I worked with the talented photographer, Anthony Wallen to capture some amazing photos of my work. He pretty much perfoms magic with the camera. If you haven't had a chance to check out more of his work click here to view his portfolio. And I strongly suggest hitting him up to capture your next special moment!

Here are a few pictures of our time in Downtown Atlanta showing off my new top and GREY BUTTON accessories- handbag, earrings and bracelets!

I even got to pose on this bridge overlooking the city that so many fans of The Walking Dead and House of Payne recognized immediately! Anthony had to school me because I don't watch either one of those shows. I know, I've been told I'm missing out on The Walking Dead......I just don't have the time to get wrapped up into another show.....because my sewing machines are always calling my name!

I loved how everything turned out....although I am still on the fence with how I feel about the new Cara bag in this grey suede. But my top.....I LOVE! It is so comfortable and fit perfectly! I'm especially proud of my sleeves. If you sew, then you know sleeves can be tricky....even more so when you drape them instead of using a flat pattern. I also love my bracelets! All around, I am calling this a WIN!

You all loved the seeing me in action last time as I was creating my top, so I have decided to give you another video. This time I am making the Terry Tote and sharing my process. From start to finish, see how I customize this style by first hand staining the leather and then diving right into the construction. It is definitley a long process, but it is all worth it in the end when I send out the finished product and you all LOVE your new bag! I just wanted to give you a glimpse into what ACTUALLY goes on when you decide to trust me to create something special for you. It is made with so much love and I hope that is what you feel when you wear your accessories!

Let me know if you are ready to customize your next bag...I can't wait to collaborate with you to make something unique! Click here to send me a message to get started!

Now, here I go.....putting in work creating the Terry Tote! What do you guys think? Do you like seeing the process? Drop me a comment to share your thoughts.....I would love to hear your feedback!
