I’ve recently returned home from a much needed REAL vacation in Colorado with an amazing friend where, for the first time, I didn't bring ANY work. And let me say........... I love C O L O R A D O ! What I fell in love with the most is how welcoming the outdoors felt. We spent the entire week in nature and it was so beautiful! This trip was a reminder for me to stop and really enjoy all that being outside brings. I did activities I had never done before like going paddle boarding and loving every bit of it, driving up the mountain to 14,000+ ft. elevation and literally standing in the clouds, night hiking up the mountain to watch all the firework shows overlooking the entire city and much more.
What made it a truly special experience was the hospitality of my friends making my stay extremely comfortable. I had beautiful accommodations that even allowed me to enjoy the sunrise every morning outdoors with relaxation and over a cup of hot coffee, picnics and home cooked meals, great conversations, lots of laughs and SUPER tasty cocktails! Needless to say, I am already thinking of when I can get another getaway to this beautiful state!
I was even able to bring a little piece of Colorado home with me........ like my TAN!!! I am super excited about my natural glow! Of course I had to come home and immediately capture my new brown skin so I can forever be reminded of why I need to go back at least once each summer!
