I can't believe another year has gone so fast!!! I'm not mad though because we have grown so much this past year! I'm not going to say it's been easy but it has been so rewarding. Now I'm thinking of what #38 will bring....oooops I mean #28! He he he. I have so many personal and business goals and if I know one thing....I know GOD can make it happen, especially after this weekend. I have literally watched Him perform miracles! Some things I can get started on right away, others are going to take time. One thing I can start now is drinking more water. I don't drink sodas at all or juice, unless I juice fresh fruits and veggies myself, and I occasional enjoy a cup of decaf coffee, so I really ONLY drink water ....but I just forget sometimes to drink ENOUGH. Not this year! I will be peeing every 10 minutes!!! Lol. Another BIG goal of mine is just as important for me personally as it is to the business. And that is to move back to California. I've never really felt at home anywhere else, it was where I was born and have some of my BEST memories. Plus I don't like the cold!!!! But more importantly our business could greatly benefit. It's where I went to fashion school, so I would have industry support...not to mention the garment district in LA and all of the access it brings! If you've ever been you know what I mean!
But today IT'S MY BIRTHDAY and I'm so excited!!! Since I have a sugar free diet, I love making delicious miniature desserts that I can enjoy and satisfies my sweet tooth without poisoning my body. Me and processed sugar just aren't friends anymore! For today's special treat, I made a vanilla cake with a coffee peanut butter "frosting" and coffee caramel drizzle topped with chopped almonds. Mmmmm-mmm!
I also snagged my daughter's dress so I could be cute hanging out with my boo! I've been eyeing it since we got it for her last year for graduation and since she left it home when she went away to college, I said....why not?? I'm sure she wore it better, but I still had fun wearing it too! I imagined I was 18, it was great!!!
