Almond Cinnamon Granola

Today I am sharing a super easy Granola recipe. It takes no time to put together! Although this one has just a handful of ingredients you can add lots of extras to yours if you want something a little more heartier like additional nuts, seeds or dried fruits. And even though I don't eat chocolate anymore, I wouldn't judge you if you added some dark chocolate mini chips to the finished batch. I love this Granola so much because it's light, crunchy and versatile. At breakfast, eat it like cereal with raisins and almond milk, on top of yogurt for a midday snack, or even turn it into a dessert like mini frozen cheesecake bites with a granola crumble (recipe coming soon!)

Here are the ingredients for the this basic almond cinnamon granola.

-rolled oats

-coconut oil

-honey

-almonds

-sunflower seeds

-cinnamon

-allspice

-nutmeg

-a dash of salt

* I normally add some ground flax seed but I was just out this time... if you have some I would definitely recommend adding it too!

I feel really good when I eat this granola because not only is it very TASTY, it's cheaper than the store bought versions and I actually know EXACTLY what's in it! You can make this at the beginning of the week and have a healthy go-to when the snacking urges come up during the week because you know they're coming! Let me know if you decide to make this and what extra goodies you put in yours.....I would love to hear how it turns out!

*Be sure to add your dried fruits and chocolate after it has finished baking so you don't have a sticky mess!
